Job Summary
This Biochemist I role involves troubleshooting immunoassay reagents and testing components, leading projects through the project life cycle, coordinating root cause investigations with cross-functional teams, and performing DOE-based design and analysis. You will work with Atellica, Centaur, and CP instrumentation on serum and other human/animal-origin fluids, contribute to an assay portfolio (HIV, Oncology, therapeutic drug monitoring, congenital conditions, immunosuppressants), and prepare compliance documentation. Requires BS or MS in Biochemistry/Molecular Biology and DEA background check; onsite, with strong analytical, communication, and PC/software skills.
Required Qualifications
- BS or MS in Biochemistry and/or Molecular Biology
- DEA background check
- Experience with Atellica, Centaur, and Centaur CP instrumentation
- Troubleshooting immunoassay reagents and testing components
- Lead projects through project life cycle
- DOE design of experiments
- Writing compliance documentation for investigations and data analyses
- MS Office 365 (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook)
- Statistical methods (Minitab preferred)
