BioAssay Analyst

Job Summary
Perform analytical and bioassay testing in line with pharmacopeial and regulatory standards, generating and interpreting data to support release and stability testing. Manage sample receipt, distribution, and tracking while maintaining expertise in techniques such as HPLC and ELISA. Investigate deviations and out-of-specification results, optimize processes, and train colleagues to ensure client requirements are consistently met. This full-time, permanent position requires biweekly rotating shifts (07:00–19:00) and is based at a leading biotechnology client facility. Eurofins PSS Insourcing Solutions places skilled teams directly at client sites to manage operations seamlessly.
Required Qualifications
- Degree or equivalent qualification in a scientific discipline
- Experience working within a laboratory environment
- Experience working within a GMP-regulated setting
- Practical knowledge of a range of analytical techniques, such as HPLC, Capillary SDS, Capillary IEF, ELISA, UV, pH, turbidity and particulate analysis
- Experience in sample management
- Experience working with laboratory systems and software, including LIMS platforms
- Confidence in maintaining accurate and compliant laboratory records
- Strong attention to detail
- Methodical approach to laboratory work
- Well-developed analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to troubleshoot laboratory issues, investigate anomalies and contribute to the resolution of technical challenges
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively as part of a collaborative Eurofins team
- Ability to build positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders
