Job Summary
Safely operate gravel train equipment to transport biosolids from wastewater treatment facilities to area landfills in the Flint, Michigan region. Inspect trucks, trailers, and loads for mechanical, safety, and emergency equipment issues while verifying delivery routes and documentation. Manually couple and uncouple trailers, connect air and electrical lines, and maneuver equipment into loading and unloading positions. Maintain required driver logs, report defects or accidents, and comply with weigh station regulations. This specialized role supports DHT Group's wastewater treatment operations with a $25/hour rate, $1,000 sign-on bonus, and local parking.
Required Qualifications
- Gravel train operating experience
- Licensed CDL Class A Driver
- Acceptable MVR
- T Endorsement (Doubles Endorsement)
- 3-6 months of verifiable Gravel train driving experience
- Must be able to lift a minimum of 25 pounds
- Must be able to pass a drug and alcohol screen
- Must be able to pass a DOT physical
