Job Summary
Supervise daily Bingo Department operations by assigning duties, managing front-line staff, and resolving patron disputes. Direct supervision of all employees includes interviewing, hiring, training, motivating, disciplining, and discharging personnel as necessary. Plan and coordinate game schedules, standardize house rules and procedures, and oversee sales, expenditure, and game reports. Maintain equipment, control sensitive assets, and establish internal operating procedures with Surveillance and Security to protect Tribal assets. Forecast budgets, manage vendor relationships, and develop training sessions while ensuring excellent customer service. Report to work based on assigned schedules with overtime required; valid New Mexico Driver's License and STGC Gaming License mandatory.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma, GED certification or equivalent
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- One (1) year of Gaming experience including six (6) months in a supervisory capacity
- Must possess and maintain a valid, unrestricted New Mexico Driver's License
- Must be able to read, write and speak English fluently
- Must be able to obtain and maintain the required STGC Gaming License
- Will require a pre-employment and random drug screening
- Ability to supervise, coordinate, direct and assign work
- Ability to make judgements and decisions regarding patron disputes and employee complaints
- Ability to implement and administer discipline procedures
- Ability to develop and implement policies and procedures
- Ability to develop and administer a Bingo budget
- Ability to work effectively with employees and the general public
- Ability to write reports and maintain files and employee schedules
- Ability to develop and implement training sessions for employees
- Knowledge of Bingo, pull tab, and bus operations as well as reporting requirements
- Knowledge of all Bingo gaming equipment
- Must be able to work long hours under stressful conditions
- Must be able to work indoors
- Must be able to balance on narrow, slippery, or erratically moving surfaces
- Must be able to climb ladders, stairs, scaffolding, ramps, poles
- Must be able to walk throughout the work area on various surfaces
- Must be able to see the nature of objects
- Must be able to sit for sustained periods of time
- Must be able to stand for sustained periods of time
- Must be able to stoop by bending body downward and forward
- Must be able to talk and exchange ideas by means of the spoken word
- Must be able to perform trunk-bend, twist, rotate, push, pull, carry
- Must be able to reach, carry, push, pull, lift, twist, rotate with arms
- Must be able to lift, push, pull, twist, rotate with legs
- Must be able to grasp, manipulate, coordinate eyes and hands, and demonstrate overall and finger dexterity
- Must be able to handle hazards including smoke, common colds, influenza, dust, odors and elevated noise levels
- Must be able to work on uneven, inclined, hard and soft carpeted floors, cement structures and surfaces
- Must be able to walk, stand for long periods of time, sit and crouch
- Must be able to perform duties in an indoor environment
- Must be able to work subject to change with overtime work required
