Job Summary
Greet guests courteously, sell bingo paper and merchandise, and verify discount eligibility while answering inquiries. Play bingo cards for guests, read winning cards back to callers, and assist with game procedures. Verify bingo cash drops, reconcile session totals, and maintain accurate inventory of paper and electronic devices. Set up bingo tables, stock brochure racks, and ensure the area is ready for gameplay. This role supports the Sycuan Band of the Kumeyaay Nation's Casino and Golf Resort, emphasizing community and guest experience.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma, High School Certificate of Completion, or G.E.D
- Guest service experience
- 21 years of age
- Working knowledge of bingo game rules, regulations and procedures
- Ability to interact effectively with team members and guests
- Ability to communicate effectively in the English language
- Ability to maintain professionalism and composure
- Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations
- Ability to count currency
- Ability to recognize counterfeit monies
- Ability to accept constructive criticism
- Ability to complete forms and documents
- Ability to perform basic data entry
- Ability to understand and follow verbal directives and written directions
- Ability to work in a smoking environment
- Ability to appear for work on time
- Ability to stand and walk for up to eight hours at a time
- Ability to lift up to 40 lbs.
