Job Summary
Operate and set up bindery equipment including cutters, folders, stitchers, and perfect binders while monitoring quality and making adjustments. Keep production moving by troubleshooting minor issues and working as part of a team to hit daily goals. Inspect finished products to ensure they meet standards and follow safety procedures to maintain a clean workspace. No prior bindery experience needed; training provided for those with machinery operation skills in manufacturing or trades. On second shift from 3:00 PM to 11:00 PM Monday through Friday with overtime pay after 40 hours.
Required Qualifications
- Experience operating machinery in any industry (manufacturing, warehouse, trades, etc.)
- Mechanically inclined and comfortable using basic tools
- Can read basic job instructions and measurements (decimals, sizes, etc.)
- Take pride in doing quality work
- Show up reliably
- Work well with a team
- Must be available for 2nd shifts (Monday–Friday, 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM)
- Must be available for full-time 40 hours/week
- Must be able to lift up to 20 lbs. occasionally
- Must follow safety procedures
