Job Summary
Operate and set up bindery equipment including cutters, folders, stitchers, and perfect binders while monitoring quality and adjusting machines to keep production moving. Troubleshoot minor issues, inspect finished products against standards, and work as part of a team to hit daily production goals. Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized workspace. No prior bindery experience required; training provided for those with machinery operation skills. Full-time, 2nd shift Monday through Friday, 3:00 PM to 11:00 PM.
Required Qualifications
- Experience operating machinery in any industry (manufacturing, warehouse, trades, etc.)
- Mechanically inclined and comfortable using basic tools
- Can read basic job instructions and measurements (decimals, sizes, etc.)
- Take pride in doing quality work
- Show up reliably and work well with a team
- On your feet for most of the shift
- Lift up to 20 lbs. occasionally
Desired Qualifications
- Print, bindery, or finishing experience
- Experience setting up or adjusting production equipment
