Job Summary
Set up, adjust, and operate bindery equipment including cutters, folders, and stitchers to meet job specifications and production standards. Independently perform machine setups, read and interpret job tickets, and measure folds, cuts, and alignment to ensure quality. Inspect work throughout production, troubleshoot machine issues, and maintain production schedules while recording counts and waste. Perform routine maintenance, keep equipment clean, and follow safety procedures. Communicate production issues or delays to leadership. Requires 3–5 years of commercial printing bindery experience with independent setup ability.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience as a bindery operator in a commercial printing environment
- Demonstrated ability to independently set up cutters, folders, and stitchers
- Strong working knowledge of bindery equipment and finishing processes
- Ability to read and understand job tickets and production specifications
- High attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Reliable attendance
