Job Summary
Join Walsworth-Eau Claire as a Bindery Operator II for the overnight shift, where you will set up, run, and maintain machinery in a fast-paced, climate-controlled environment. Your responsibilities include reading bindery ticket instructions, maintaining accurate counts, troubleshooting machinery, and assisting in training new employees. Ideal candidates should possess excellent communication skills, be mechanistically inclined, and be able to work effectively both independently and in a team. Previous experience in the printing industry is preferred but not required.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED) necessary
- Preference for one year experience in Bindery Operations
Desired Qualifications
- Desire to start or continue a career in the printing trade (previous print industry experience NOT required)
- Ability to remain organized and self-directed in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to work in a team environment
- Ability to learn computer applications as necessary for the position
- Mechanically inclined
- Basic math, ruler and computer skills
