Bindery Operator - 1st Shift

Responsible for processing products through the final stages of the printing process in a temperature-controlled, team-based environment. Operates bindery equipment (stitcher, drill, padder, strapper, shrink wrap) and performs packaging, boxing, labeling, and shipment preparation. Maintains accuracy by proofreading run headers, matching printouts to boxes, generating shipping paperwork, and coordinating with carriers (FedEx, UPS, USPS). Builds boxes, scans/records shipments, and prepares pallets/skids for distribution; ensures quality and regulatory compliance for shipping, including international considerations when applicable. Requires strong organizational abilities, basic math, ability to lift and move packages, and proficient use of tracking systems. Prior warehouse/shipping/logistics experience and familiarity with quality control processes are beneficial. The role emphasizes attention to detail, communication with team members and carriers, and the ability to adapt to workflow needs. Shift is 1st, with an hourly compensation starting at $17.50 plus DOE, and a benefits package including medical/dental/vision, 401(k) with employer match, and PTO.
