Bindery Assistant

Job Summary
Operate and set up bindery equipment including cutters, folders, stitchers, and perfect binders while monitoring quality and adjusting machines to keep production moving. Inspect finished products against standards, troubleshoot minor issues, and maintain a clean workspace following safety procedures. Work as part of a team to hit daily production goals on the fast-paced manufacturing floor. No prior bindery experience required; training provided for those with machinery operation skills. Full-time 1st shift Monday through Friday with competitive pay, overtime opportunities, and comprehensive benefits after 30 days.
Required Qualifications
- Have experience operating machinery in any industry (manufacturing, warehouse, trades, etc.)
- Are mechanically inclined and comfortable using basic tools
- Can read basic job instructions and measurements (decimals, sizes, etc.)
- Take pride in doing quality work
- Show up reliably and work well with a team
- On your feet for most of the shift
- Lift up to 20 lbs. occasionally
Desired Qualifications
- Press, bindery, or finishing experience
- Experience setting up or adjusting production equipment
