Job Summary
Operate and set up bindery equipment including cutters, folders, stitchers, and perfect binders while monitoring quality and making adjustments to keep machines running smoothly. Inspect finished products to ensure they meet quality standards and troubleshoot minor issues to maintain daily production goals. Work as part of a team to hit output targets while following safety procedures and maintaining a clean, organized workspace. No bindery experience required; training provided for those with machinery operation skills in manufacturing or trades. On the first shift from 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM Monday through Friday.
Required Qualifications
- Have experience operating machinery in any industry (manufacturing, warehouse, trades, etc.)
- Are mechanically inclined and comfortable using basic tools
- Can read basic job instructions and measurements (decimals, sizes, etc.)
- Take pride in doing quality work
- Show up reliably and work well with a team
- On your feet for most of the shift
- Lift up to 20 lbs. occasionally
Desired Qualifications
- Press, bindery, or finishing experience
- Experience setting up or adjusting production equipment
