Job Summary
Operate and set up bindery equipment including cutters, folders, stitchers, and perfect binders while monitoring quality and making adjustments. Keep machines running smoothly by troubleshooting minor issues to maintain production flow and inspect finished products against standards. Work as part of a team to hit daily production goals while following safety procedures and maintaining a clean workspace. No bindery experience required; training provided for those with machinery operation skills. Second shift Monday through Friday from 3:00 PM to 11:00 PM with overtime pay after 40 hours. Eligible for a $2,500 hiring bonus after 12 weeks.
Required Qualifications
- Have experience operating machinery in any industry (manufacturing, warehouse, trades, etc.)
- Are mechanically inclined and comfortable using basic tools
- Can read basic job instructions and measurements (decimals, sizes, etc.)
- Take pride in doing quality work
- Show up reliably and work well with a team
- On your feet for most of the shift
- Lift up to 20 lbs. occasionally
Desired Qualifications
- Print, bindery, or finishing experience
- Experience setting up or adjusting production equipment
