Job Summary
Operate and set up bindery equipment including cutters, folders, stitchers, and perfect binders while monitoring quality and making adjustments. Keep machines running smoothly by troubleshooting minor issues to maintain production flow. Work as part of a team to hit daily production goals and inspect finished products to ensure they meet standards. Follow safety procedures and help maintain a clean, organized workspace. You will need experience operating machinery, be mechanically inclined, and read basic job instructions. This role offers training for those without prior bindery experience, with a 2nd shift schedule Monday through Friday from 3:00 PM to 11:00 PM.
Required Qualifications
- Have experience operating machinery in any industry (manufacturing, warehouse, trades, etc.)
- Are mechanically inclined and comfortable using basic tools
- Can read basic job instructions and measurements (decimals, sizes, etc.)
- Take pride in doing quality work
- Show up reliably and work well with a team
- On your feet for most of the shift
- Lift up to 20 lbs. occasionally
Desired Qualifications
- Print, bindery, or finishing experience
- Experience setting up or adjusting production equipment
