Job Summary
Operate and set up bindery equipment including cutters, folders, stitchers, and perfect binders while monitoring quality and making adjustments. Keep machines running smoothly by troubleshooting minor issues and maintaining a clean, organized workspace. Work as part of a team to hit daily production goals and inspect finished products to ensure they meet quality standards. Follow safety procedures and basic job instructions while on your feet for most of the shift. No bindery experience required; training provided for those with machinery operation skills.
Required Qualifications
- Experience operating machinery in any industry (manufacturing, warehouse, trades, etc.)
- Mechanically inclined and comfortable using basic tools
- Can read basic job instructions and measurements (decimals, sizes, etc.)
- Take pride in doing quality work
- Show up reliably and work well with a team
- On your feet for most of the shift
- Lift up to 20 lbs. occasionally
Desired Qualifications
- Print, bindery, or finishing experience
- Experience setting up or adjusting production equipment
