Job Summary
Operate and set up bindery equipment including cutters, folders, stitchers, and perfect binders while monitoring quality and making adjustments. Keep production moving by troubleshooting minor issues, inspecting finished products against standards, and working as part of a team to hit daily goals. Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized workspace while on your feet for most of the shift. Lift up to 20 lbs occasionally. No bindery experience required; training provided for those with prior machinery operation experience.
Required Qualifications
- Experience operating machinery in any industry (manufacturing, warehouse, trades, etc.)
- Are mechanically inclined and comfortable using basic tools
- Can read basic job instructions and measurements (decimals, sizes, etc.)
- Take pride in doing quality work
- Show up reliably
- Work well with a team
- On your feet for most of the shift
- Lift up to 20 lbs. occasionally
Desired Qualifications
- Print, bindery, or finishing experience
- Experience setting up or adjusting production equipment
