Job Summary
Safely operate a flatbed truck or trailer to deliver and pick up bins from customer locations while performing minor repairs and adjustments on containers. Complete pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections, maintain accurate daily logs and service notes, and communicate regularly with dispatch and supervisors. Provide friendly, professional service to customers at every stop and support special projects, community cleanups, and company events as needed. Follow all company safety procedures and report any unsafe conditions immediately. This entry-level role serves as a career pathway into a Commercial Driver route position for those with a valid Class A or B CDL with an air brake endorsement.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Clean driving record with no major violations in the past 3 years
- Ability to work outdoors in all types of weather
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Valid Class A or B CDL with air brake endorsement (required)
Desired Qualifications
- Solid Waste industry experience is helpful but not required
