BIM/VDC Technician

Job Summary

Develop 3D and 4D models, produce high-quality animations and videos, and manage BIM coordination for domestic and international clients. Write procedures, create process flow diagrams, and assist in developing proposal content, graphics, and marketing material. Advise clients on BIM best practices, perform QA/QC of models, and deliver training and thought leadership presentations. Work with a multi-disciplinary team to provide consulting services across several industry sectors. This role involves supporting project controls, visual planning, and digitalization initiatives within our Strategic Services department.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or diploma in architecture, engineering, engineering technology, construction management or a related field
  • 2+ years of experience in a BIM/VDC role
  • 2+ years of construction industry experience
  • Proficient with REVIT and Navisworks
  • Legally authorized to work in Canada
  • Ability to travel to the United States
  • Authorized to access and/or use information under U.S. Export Control Laws (10 CFR Part 810 and 15 CFR Parts 730 through 774)
  • Single or dual-held citizenships listed in United States Code of Federal Regulations (CFR), Chapter III Department of Energy, Part 810 Assistance to Foreign Atomic Energy Activities, Appendix A

Desired Qualifications

  • BIM certification
  • Bentley certification
  • Experience with Synchro 4D
  • Experience with ArchiCAD, TEKLA, BIM 360, SmartPlant, Blender, Unreal Engine, or P6
  • Programming experience
