Job Summary
BIM/VDC Specialist at Kinetic Construction Ltd. in Vancouver, BC, responsible for implementing BIM & VDC technologies and services, leading and assisting project delivery through design and construction phases, collaborating with project teams, and providing standards coordination, data management, and BIM collaboration/training. Required Qualifications
- Post-secondary education in Architecture or Engineering is preferred
- In-depth knowledge of BIM & VDC services, standards, and implementation
- 5+ years of production experience in design, drafting or engineering
- 1+ year working for a General Contractor
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to train other employees on various BIM tools and software
- Must possess and maintain exceptional work ethic as well as uphold company values and demand the highest standards of conduct from self and others
- Must have basic PC experience in Windows environments, working knowledge of word processing, spreadsheets, email, web-enabled applications, and database software
- Must be a self-starter and possess the drive to pursue continued education on BIM & VDC
- Possess the ability to work well as part of a team and independently
