Job Summary
Lead and supervise the on-site BIM Department team for a high-tech semiconductor construction project in Boise, ID. Represent the BIM department in client meetings, set and uphold BIM standards, develop and implement BIM processes with IT, train project teams on software platforms (Navisworks, Revit, AutoCAD, iConstruct, Dynamo, SketchUp, Newforma Konekt, Forma), drive 4D model scheduling, establish data exchange standards, coordinate 3D model workflows across stakeholders, monitor clash detection and IFF sign-off, and ensure archival of record models. Requires 6-8 years in AEC, strong BIM/VDC expertise, and the ability to lead and communicate effectively with cross-functional teams.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or GED required
- 6-8 years’ experience in architectural, engineering, or construction (AEC) industry
- Specific experience in industrial and/or advanced manufacturing projects
- Proficiency with Autodesk Navisworks Manage; experience with Navisworks Clash Detection, Quantification, Timeliner
- Experience with BIM, AutoCAD, Revit; proficient in Windows and Microsoft Office 365; understanding of computer networks
- Experience with Procore and Bluebeam; administering Autodesk Forma (ACC) and other data environments
- Ability to host, facilitate, and document BIM coordination meetings; design document reading and specifications
- Knowledge of Virtual Design and Construction (VDC) methods; experience in data centers/semiconductor environments (preferred)
- Strong leadership, communication, and collaboration skills
- Willingness to work extended hours or off-shift to accommodate construction sequences
