BIM Technician

Job Summary
BIM Technician responsible for designing models (coordination, shop drawings and as-builts), modeling content and coordinating with other trades, laying out wiring/equipment in designated specs, applying National Electrical Codes, reading contract documents, executing 3D modeling from one-lines and panel schedules, and collaborating with site foremen and project management to resolve issues via RFIs. Will review drawings for conflicts across architectural, mechanical, electrical, fire alarm and structural documents, coordinate drafts with trades to ensure clearances, perform site surveys and field measurements, review submittals, maintain logs for RFIs/transmittals/drawings, and manage as-built conditions using point cloud data; must have at least a high school diploma or GED with Associate degree or higher preferred, prior BIM coordination/modeling experience, strong proficiency in REVIT and Excel, and the ability to work in the Phoenix, AZ office with a 40+ hour work week.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or GED equivalency (Associates Degree or higher preferred)
- Experience as BIM Coordinator, Detailer, or Modeler
- Proficiency in MEP REVIT
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Ability to read and interpret contract documents and drawings
- Ability to work in-person at the Phoenix, AZ office
- Detail oriented with high accuracy
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to handle multiple high-priority tasks
- General knowledge of construction, electrical components and their usage
- Ability to work 40+ hours per week, Monday-Friday 7am-4pm
