BIM Senior Engineer I, Civil Structures (Revit Focused)

Job Summary
Lead BIM strategy and execution for Kairos Power’s civil structures with a focus on Revit-based workflows. Develop and enforce BIM standards, BEPs, LOD requirements, and CDE governance; coordinate interdisciplinary modeling and clash resolution using Navisworks; manage and mentor a team of BIM coordinators and modelers; create and maintain standardized Revit families and content for civil structural elements; ensure integration with Civil 3D, InfraWorks, and other Autodesk tools; drive high-quality deliverables across project lifecycles, from design through construction and as-built documentation; stay current with BIM industry standards and best practices (e.g., ISO 19650) while supporting nuclear/regulatory project environments.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, Construction Management, or related field
- Minimum 7-10 years in AECO industry
- At least 5 years in BIM management/coordination focused on structural or civil projects
- Expert-level proficiency in Autodesk Revit Structure
- Experience with Autodesk Navisworks for coordination and clash detection
- Proven experience creating and managing advanced Revit families, parameters, and templates
- Strong knowledge of Civil 3D, Navisworks, and interoperability with Revit
- Experience with Dynamo for Revit for automation
- Experience with 4D/5D BIM processes (scheduling and cost estimation)
- Knowledge of BIM standards and BEPs, LOD definitions, and data management
- Experience in nuclear or regulated environments a plus
- Professional communication and leadership abilities
- PE license preferred (not required)
- Autodesk Certified Professional in Revit or related certifications preferred
