Job Summary
Develop and execute BIM implementation plans, defining standards, protocols, and workflows aligned with project goals and client requirements. Oversee the creation and management of architectural, structural, MEP, and other discipline-specific models throughout the project lifecycle, coordinating interdisciplinary clashes to ensure clash-free construction documents. Collaborate with architects, engineers, contractors, and subcontractors to facilitate collaborative planning and decision-making using BIM technology. Establish quality assurance processes for model validation and compliance, while managing software platforms like Autodesk Revit and Navisworks to provide technical support and training. Integrate BIM data with project scheduling, cost estimation, and facilities management systems, and identify risks to develop mitigation strategies that minimize impact on timelines and budgets.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, or related field
- Proven experience in BIM implementation and project management, preferably in the construction industry
- Proficiency in BIM software platforms such as Autodesk Revit, Navisworks, and BIM 360
- Strong understanding of BIM standards and protocols, including COBie, IFC, and LOD (Level of Development)
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and leadership skills
- Ability to multitask, prioritize tasks, and meet project deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of construction project management principles and practices
- Problem-solving mindset with a proactive approach to overcoming challenges
Desired Qualifications
- Certification in BIM (e.g., Autodesk Certified Professional)
