Job Summary
BIM Modeller - Structures for Data Centers based in Cape Town, supporting a locally based team and global colleagues. Responsibilities include modelling with Autodesk Revit (Buildings) or Bentley OpenBuildings/MicroStation to produce compliant drawings, delivering BIM models per client requirements and BIM Execution Plan, ensuring completeness and accuracy before review, following coordination strategy and reporting using Navisworks and other tools, managing in- and out-going model/drawing information, and coordinating BIM360 projects. Requirements include BIM qualification or bachelor’s degree in Civil/Structural Engineering, minimum 1 year Revit modelling experience, knowledge of BIM standards and techniques, and experience with concrete/steelwork reinforcement 3D modelling. The role supports a flexible hybrid work arrangement with at least three days per week in an AECOM office and an in-person Day 1 onboarding. Required Qualifications
- BIM Qualification / Diploma / bachelor’s degree in Civil / Structural Engineering
- Minimum 1 years’ experience of relevant Revit modelling
- Some technical knowledge of structures practice line discipline
- Knowledge of Industry BIM standards, processes, and general approaches
