Job Summary
BIM Modeller within Ramboll's High-Rise & Complex Buildings team based in Penang, producing, managing and coordinating detailed 3D BIM models across architectural, structural and MEP disciplines using Autodesk Revit. Lead interdisciplinary clash detection and coordination to resolve discrepancies before construction; manage BIM libraries, templates and data to support accurate visualization and structured data sharing; extract high-quality 2D drawings from models for construction documentation and contribute to BIM Execution Plans and project BIM standards; perform regular quality audits and provide hands-on technical support to project teams. Requires a degree in Civil or Structural Engineering (or equivalent) and solid Revit proficiency; familiarity with ArchiCAD or Bentley MicroStation is a plus; knowledge of BIM integration across design, construction and operations is expected.
Required Qualifications
- A degree in Civil or Structural Engineering, or equivalent professional background
- Solid hands-on proficiency in Autodesk Revit
- Familiarity with ArchiCAD or Bentley MicroStation is a plus
- Working knowledge of BIM across design, construction and operations
- Exposure to structural analysis tools such as SAP2000, STAAD Pro or Robot is advantageous
- Familiarity with SketchUp, AutoCAD, E20 and MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, MS Project)
- Detail-oriented with ability to manage multiple priorities
