Job Summary
Develop and maintain detailed 3D BIM models using Autodesk Revit, AutoCAD, Navisworks, and Onshape to create coordinated, construction-ready designs. Interpret architectural, structural, and MEP drawings to identify and resolve coordination issues through clash detection. Collaborate with architects, engineers, and contractors to ensure model accuracy, generate construction documents, and update models based on design revisions and field markups. Maintain BIM standards, file organization, and version control protocols while supporting BIM Execution Plans and continuous improvement initiatives.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 2–5 years of BIM modeling and coordination experience
- Strong Revit and AutoCAD skills, including BIM modeling and clash detection
- Proficiency in: AutoCAD, Revit, Onshape, Navisworks
- Experience generating construction documents, material takeoffs, and fabrication drawings from BIM models
- Strong understanding of architectural, structural, and MEP systems integration
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team
Desired Qualifications
- Navisworks (preferred)
- BIM Certification preferred (e.g., Autodesk Certified Professional)
