Job Summary
The BIM Modeler II will provide modeling for project delivery and standards. Able to develop Revit families per revised standards or project needs, model and document projects efficiently, set up Revit views/templates/filters per Rosendin standards, and track progress while complying with confidentiality and IP protections. Requires familiarity with Revit, BIM processes, 2D/3D drafting, coordination with other trades, and proficiency in related software; supports growth within a shareholder-driven, employee-owned electrical contractor environment.
Required Qualifications
- High school Diploma or equivalent required
- An associate degree preferred in Computerized Drafting field
- Minimum 2 years’ total experience with knowledge of electrical symbols and electrical drafting conventions and standards
- Knowledge of Revit, ability to create and manipulate views, browser structure, sheets, schedules, filters
- Ability to follow REI BIM processes, procedures, and standards including workflow
- Ability to read 2D plans, one-lines, lighting schedules, panel schedules, and feeder schedules
- Knowledge of BlueBeam, Autodesk Cloud products, and NavisWorks
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)
- Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
- Working knowledge of Revit work sharing environments and 3D coordination with other trades
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and adapt to changing requirements
- Self-motivated, proactive, team-oriented
- Possess strong attention to detail and document progress per project standards
