Job Summary
BIM Manager/Design Technology Lead to drive BIM standards across Revit and Bentley for infrastructure and large-scale AEC projects. Lead coordination across multi-discipline teams, develop and enforce BIM Execution Plans, establish Common Data Environments, and oversee model coordination, clash detection, and data governance. Drive adoption of AI-assisted workflows, computational design, and digital twin strategies; mentor junior staff; contribute to technical proposals and RFP responses; and present BIM methodologies to clients and regulatory stakeholders.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, or related field
- 7+ years of BIM experience on infrastructure or large-scale AEC projects
- Advanced proficiency in Autodesk Revit (MEP, Structural, Architectural) and Bentley suite (MicroStation, OpenBuildings, OpenRoads)
- Hands-on experience with ACC/BIM 360, Navisworks Manage, and ProjectWise
- Demonstrated ability to author and enforce LOD/LOI standards and BIM Execution Plans
- Strong knowledge of ISO 19650, COBie, IFC, and open BIM principles
- Experience managing clash detection and model coordination on multi-discipline projects
- Exceptional communication skills; ability to present BIM strategies to technical and non-technical stakeholders
Desired Qualifications
- Experience on rail, transit, or aviation infrastructure projects (e.g., MTA, Port Authority, PANYNJ)
- Familiarity with Bentley's iTwin platform and digital twin workflows
- Background in AI/ML integration into BIM or AEC workflows
- Experience in multi-prime or joint-venture project delivery environments
- Proficiency with Dynamo, Grasshopper, or parametric design scripting
- Salary: $125-139K Annually
