Job Summary
BIM Engineer/Structural Engineer based in Wroclaw, Poland (Permanent, Hybrid) responsible for creating and implementing structural models primarily in Revit, with additional modelling, construction drawings, visual presentations, and reporting. Manage federated 3D/4D/5D BIM models by merging multiple discipline models, coordinate interfaces with architects and engineers across Denmark, Sweden, Norway and the UK, and develop design solutions for construction documentation through concept to detailed design, including automation and template enhancements. Lead BIM coordination meetings, develop execution plans, and collaborate with BIM technicians to resolve issues. Create workflows to export 3D Civil and Revit content to analysis/visualization tools (Navisworks) and use Solibri/Navisworks for coordination, while ensuring clash reports are addressed. Requires Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in structural/civil engineering with at least 5 years of relevant experience, proficiency in REVIT and AutoCAD, strong English skills, and familiarity with additional tools (TEKLA, MicroStation/InRoads, Civil3D, Dynamo/Grasshopper) is a plus. A collaborative, detail-oriented team player capable of working in time-sensitive settings and delivering high-quality outcomes for UK-based projects.
Required Qualifications
- Master’s or bachelor’s Degree in structural/civil engineering with at least 5 years of relevant experience
- Proficiency in REVIT and AutoCAD (must-have)
- English communication skills
- Experience with TEKLA, MicroStation/InRoads, Civil3D, and scripting tools like Dynamo and Grasshopper (advantage)
- Ability to collaborate with lead structural designers and team members to produce construction drawings, including reinforcement and detailing, and lead coordination meetings as needed
