Job Summary
Develop complete system designs in CAD or Revit for customers, coordinate and manage Revit models, and create or modify Revit families. Perform clash detection, review work for accuracy and constructability, and maintain standard work lists to ensure quality. Independently execute assignments while identifying training opportunities based on project exposure. Within three months, communicate with project managers to gather information and set up linked models across disciplines. Over six months, independently manage BIM project data and resolve coordination issues. Within a year, provide internal BIM training, enforce organization-wide standards, and develop processes to improve productivity.
Required Qualifications
- Applicants must be authorized to work in the US without requiring sponsorship now or in the future
- AS, BS or MS degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Computer Science), Architecture or similar building design profession
- 2+ years of professional Revit experience
- 2+ years of Navisworks experience
- Capability to read and understand construction drawings and details
- Ability to manipulate and adapt files created by others
- Experience with Microsoft Office and BIM 360
- Extensive knowledge of current AutoCAD Navisworks, and Revit software
- 3D Model Quantity Extraction and 4D Scheduling using Navisworks
- Excellent communication skills including verbal, written and oral
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in a construction environment and/ or Structural or MEP industry preferred
- An advance degree is preferred
