BIM Coordinator - Landscape Architecture, Masterplanning and Urban Design

Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced BIM Coordinator to join Gillespies’ landscape architecture studio (Leeds, Manchester, Oxford or London). You’ll oversee BIM processes across landscape architecture, public realm, masterplanning and urban design projects, develop and manage Revit models, perform model health checks, manage information exchanges within ACC/Forma, conduct clash detection, coordinate federated models, and contribute to BEPs/TIDs/MIDs. You’ll train team members, support sustainable design integration in BIM workflows, and liaise with multidisciplinary teams to ensure ISO 19650-aligned workflows and high-quality project delivery. A degree or equivalent professional experience in architecture, landscape architecture, engineering, or design technology is required. Hybrid working: 2 days from home, 3 days in studio, with potential involvement across UK and internationally.
Required Qualifications
- Proven experience in a BIM Coordinator, BIM Technician or similar digital design role
- Experience delivering medium to large-scale BIM-enabled projects
- Strong proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD
- Experience using Navisworks for model review, clash detection and coordination
- Experience working within a Common Data Environment, particularly ACC / Forma
- Strong knowledge of BIM standards, protocols and information management processes, with ISO 19650 experience preferred
- Experience coordinating information with multidisciplinary teams and external consultants
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and coordination skills
- Self-motivated and capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Degree, diploma, or equivalent professional experience in architecture, landscape architecture, engineering, design technology, or a related discipline
