Job Summary
Coordinate high-quality BIM models for Fire Alarm and Detection Systems using Revit and Navisworks, developing detailed 3D models in accordance with contract documents and BIM Execution Plans. Perform clash detection to actively coordinate resolutions with other trades, update shop drawings and calculations for layout changes, and collaborate with field teams to validate constructability. Assist in improving company BIM standards, templates, and workflows while ensuring models reflect real-world conditions. Requires 1-3 years of BIM experience, proficiency in Revit and Navisworks, and familiarity with Autodesk Construction Cloud. Compensation ranges from $30-$45 per hour, with a preference for candidates local to Tempe, AZ, though remote work is available after a two-week training period. Required Qualifications
- 1-3 years of experience in BIM, VDC, or construction coordination, low voltage or MEP preferred
- Proficient in Revit and Navisworks
- Experience working in Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC)
- Navisworks clash detection experience
- Ability to read construction drawings and understand design intent
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Effective communication and ability to work in a team environment
- Knowledge of Bluebeam and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word)
- Willingness to work extended hours as needed to meet project deadlines
Desired Qualifications
- Preference is for candidates local to our Tempe, AZ office, with options to work from our Austin, Atlanta, or Ohio offices
