Job Summary
Own the Mechanical/Electrical BIM content library by creating, standardizing, and maintaining high-quality Revit families, templates, and documentation. Set standards for content quality, naming, and data consistency across project models while designing workflows that improve adoption and reduce rework. Champion BIM standards to ensure reliable model data, protect reliability through version control and change tracking, and enable teams via training, guidance, and fast troubleshooting support. Maintain the content catalog with clear documentation and release notes. Requires 5–10 years of Revit-focused BIM content experience, advanced Revit expertise, and proficiency in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office. U.S. citizen or authorized to work without sponsorship.
Required Qualifications
- Associate degree in CAD Technology (or equivalent experience)
- 5–10 years of experience supporting BIM content, standards, or production (Revit-focused)
- Working knowledge of Autodesk Revit and AutoCAD (Mechanical/Electrical focus preferred)
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and general computer literacy
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation (as required for travel between offices/job sites)
- Ability to work occasional overtime, as needed to support deliverables
- Current and ongoing authorization to work in the United States without employer sponsorship
Desired Qualifications
- Master's degree preferred
- Strong collaboration and communication skills (verbal and written)
- High attention to detail and commitment to content/model quality
- Advanced Revit expertise (family creation, parameters, shared parameters) and strong CAD fundamentals
- Familiarity with BIM/content standards and data practices (e.g., naming conventions, parameter governance)
- Comfort troubleshooting Revit/BIM issues and supporting users under deadline
