Job Summary
BIM Content Developer focused on creating, managing, and maintaining a high-quality BIM content library (Revit and Civil 3D templates, shared parameters, system families, adaptive parametric content, blocks, and part lists) to support a multi-disciplinary design team across Aviation, Transit (rail), road, highways, ports and harbours projects. Responsibilities include developing and enforcing BIM content roadmaps, documenting workflows, providing progress updates to management, offering technical training to design/modeling teams, overseeing maintenance of the BIM content repository, aligning content with project AIR/EIR/BEP requirements, optimizing for model performance and coordination, and collaborating with the Design and Engineering Program Lead to implement the BIM Execution Plan (BEP). Requires a Diploma or Degree in Architectural Technology or Engineering, 5+ years in AEC with 3+ in BIM content creation, expert Revit content creation skills, Civil 3D familiarity, and experience delivering BIM content for large-scale infrastructure/aviation projects. The role emphasizes standards, data management, QA of models/drawings, and a commitment to diversity and accessibility in hiring.
Required Qualifications
- Diploma or Degree in Architectural Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in the AEC industry, with 3 years in a dedicated BIM content creation role.
- Expert-level proficiency in Revit family creation and intermediate-level in Civil 3D styles and assemblies.
- Strong knowledge of Revit and familiarity with Civil 3D.
- Experience developing BIM content for large-scale, multi-disciplinary infrastructure or aviation projects
- Excellent understanding of BIM principles, standards, and data management.
