Job Summary
BIM/CAD Technician II at Bennett & Pless in Nashville, TN. Responsibilities include developing accurate construction drawings using Autodesk Revit for diverse project types (manufacturing, industrial/distribution, data centers, commercial, schools, medical facilities, retail, adaptive reuse, renovations), coordinating with internal/external disciplines to ensure compliance with project specifications, and producing contract documents in collaboration with structural engineers. The role involves applying drafting and engineering knowledge to execute documents, attending technical sessions to develop skills, and reviewing shop drawings/submittals. The ideal candidate will have 2-7 years of directly related experience, HS diploma or GED (with possible technical certification or an associate degree), and proficiency in Revit. Knowledge of wood, steel, load-bearing light gage steel, concrete, and masonry design for low to mid-rise structures is required. Required Qualifications
