Job Summary
BIM & Automation Director responsible for shaping and executing the BIM & Automation roadmap and setting the standard for knowledge, delivery, and industry leadership across Slantis. Lead strategy for BIM & Automation, define and elevate standards of knowledge and excellence, drive adoption across teams, own the knowledge portal, curate innovations from the AEC tech space, and formalize validated approaches into reusable delivery assets. Build onboarding content, development paths, and mentoring programs; coach technical leads and directors; build a trusted external voice through client meetings, pre-sales, and industry engagement; collaborate with Marketing on practice-aligned content; ensure delivery enablement by aligning capabilities with strategic direction and scalable solutions.
Required Qualifications
- AEC background (required)
- Experience 10+ years across BIM, digital delivery, or technical leadership roles (required)
- Technical depth in BIM workflows, parametric design, and automation tooling — Revit, Dynamo, Grasshopper, APIs
- Leadership ability to develop autonomous leaders; coaching across levels in professional services or consulting environments (required)
- Systems thinking; designs for scale and sustainability (required)
- English C1+ communication; ability to move between whiteboarding with engineers and strategic client conversations (required)
- Market presence in the AEC technology community, or credibility to become a visible voice within it (required)
