Job Summary
Billing Testing Specialist focused on validating billing systems through manual and automated testing, identifying defects, supporting test automation initiatives, and contributing to the delivery of reliable and high-quality software. Design and implement automated test cases and test plans for Billing Applications, maintain and improve existing automation suites, support integration of automated tests into CI/CD pipelines, review requirements and technical documentation, plan and execute test scenarios across functional areas, perform performance/operational/serviceability testing, identify and track defects, support troubleshooting, provide feedback to improve functionality, collaborate with QA, developers and business stakeholders, contribute to process improvements, and perform manual/exploratory testing as needed.
Required Qualifications
- First experience in software testing
- Familiarity with test management and tracking tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence)
- Basic understanding of databases and ability to write simple SQL queries
- Working knowledge of Linux/Unix environments for testing activities
- Initial experience with test automation using Java or Python is a plus
- Understanding of API and integration testing (REST, SOAP, XML)
- Experience with version control systems (Git)
- Basic understanding of CI/CD processes and tools (e.g., Jenkins)
- Good command of English (spoken and written)
- Analytical mindset and willingness to learn new technologies
- Structured and reliable way of working with attention to detail
- Proactive approach and interest in improving testing processes and automation
