Job Summary
Oversee all Medical and Vision plans by managing and supervising medical billing and collection activities for Medicare, Medicaid, commercial Insurance, and Private Pay accounts. Lead a team of medical claims billers, collection specialists, and accounts receivable specialists in scrubbing, generating, and transmitting claims daily while enforcing policies and conducting performance reviews. Coordinate with physicians, clinical staff, and other departments to ensure proper customer service and educate front office staff on billing duties and demographic requirements. Identify areas of improvement, address issues immediately, and maintain productivity reports to support maximum revenue collection. Serve as the primary resource for the department, providing direction and training to ensure professional and confidential handling of employee matters.

- Supervision of a team of medical claims billers
- Supervision of Collection Specialists
- Supervision of Accounts Receivable Specialist
- Ability to enforce policies and procedures
- Ability to conduct employee performance reviews
- Ability to provide training and coaching
- Ability to maintain productivity reports
- Ability to identify areas of improvement
- Ability to address and correct issues immediately and professionally
- Ability to handle employee matters professionally and confidentially
- Ability to answer questions, assist with problems, and provide direction
- Ability to coordinate, educate and interact with physicians, clinical staff, employees and other departments and managers
- Ability to ensure proper customer service (internal/external)
- Ability to ensure front office staff is appropriately trained concerning front office duties
- Knowledge of Medicare
