Billing Specialist

Conduct daily billing department functions including claim creation, submission, payment posting, and accurate data entry. Review medical procedures, coordinate insurance reimbursements, and resolve claim denials to ensure maximum reimbursement. Track outstanding balances, compile payment records, and negotiate sliding-scale fee payments while acting as a liaison between the facility and payment parties. Provide patient-centered customer service by explaining agency policies and responding to inquiries in a timely, accurate manner. Maintain compliance with health center practices and local, state, and federal regulations. Bilingual English/Spanish preferred; hourly rate $32.36-$40.85 plus bilingual differential.
