Job Summary
Manage project financial functions within the accounting database by setting up project information, verifying rate schedules, and generating finalized invoices. Initiate the billing cycle with prebill reports, post and submit invoices to clients per contract terms, and handle collection efforts for past-due accounts. Perform monthly reviews of assigned projects, update budget changes, and complete project completion activities including backlog verification and WIP reporting. Collaborate closely with project managers to ensure accuracy throughout the project lifecycle. This full-time hybrid role requires a minimum of three years in project billing and offers competitive pay with comprehensive benefits including ESOP, 401(k), and tuition reimbursement.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma/GED
- Associate's degree in Accounting or Finance
- minimum of 3 years' experience in project billing
- experience in KPI reporting and dashboards
- understand Work in Progress (WIP)
- valid employment eligibility (I-9)
- comply with our Fleet Management, Substance Policy, and Reference Check requirements
