Job Summary
Billing Specialist responsible for utility billing and meter reading tasks, including processing, reviewing, and monitoring customer bills; provides support on billing operations and issues; analyzes billing data, ensures compliance with tariff and regulatory requirements across states; handles complex billing for large customers; processes supplier energy usage reports and manages meter-reading files; delivers clear communication to internal/external customers and collaborates with analysts and supervisors to resolve issues; operates in a multi-system, analytical environment with high accuracy and accountability; typical schedule is 6:00am–4:00pm with emphasis on accuracy, customer service, and adherence to safety and ethics policies; 8-hour rotating schedule and emphasis on reliability and punctuality.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Experience in billing processes (preferred minimum two years)
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability to work in a team and be self-motivated
- Strong attendance and adherence record
