Job Summary
Full cycle billing including claim creation, submission, and follow-up for professional claims. Navigate multi-state payer rules and state mandates; aggressively work denials, rejections, and appeals to maximize timely reimbursement. Accurately post insurance and patient payments and resolve credit balances or overpayments. Proficiency in EMR/EHR systems and understanding of clearinghouses; comfortable contributing to a build-out environment where billing processes are established in real time.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 3+ years of full scope billing experience
- Proven track record with professional claims
- Experience billing multiple state is highly preferred
- Proficiency in EMR/EHR systems and deep understanding of clearinghouses
