Billing Specialist

Billing Specialist at Faegre Drinker with responsibilities including managing and coordinating all billing functions for a portfolio of assigned timekeepers, creating proformas, transferring, dividing, bill no-charge and correcting time and cost entries, finalizing and balancing invoices in 3E, handling alternate/fixed/flat fee arrangements, multi-payor and split billing, managing retainers and unallocated payments, advising the legal team on complex fee arrangements, collaborating with the eBilling team to onboard new clients on eBilling platforms, and overseeing the electronic invoice submission process from submission to acceptance, including troubleshooting rejected invoices; requires strong client service, teamwork across offices, problem solving, discretion with confidential information, excellent communication, and ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
