Job Summary
Part-time Billing Specialist responsible for overseeing day-to-day financial operations and office management for Athena Home Health & Hospice. Duties include managing daily billing operations, accounts payable/receivable, invoicing, financial reporting, ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations, assisting audits, collaborating with the Billing Manager, and training new processes and staff. Role is based in Farmington, CT with hours Monday through Friday 11:00 AM–4:00 PM; remote work not offered. Salary is $22-$24 per hour, paid weekly, with comprehensive benefits including 401(k) with employer match and health/dental/vision insurance.
Required Qualifications
- At least two (2) years experience in home health of hospice Medicare billing required.
