Job Summary
Prepare and submit monthly CLIN-based client invoices for government clients, ensuring accuracy within award requirements. Generate monthly burn summaries and monitor project spending to alert management of potential over or under-runs. Process vendor invoices, maintain the subcontractor timekeeping system, and track costs and manpower against budget. Follow up on past due invoices and client approvals while supporting internal program review presentations and financial contract data requirements. Communicate directly with clients regarding invoicing and receivables, report unbilled issues, and assist with subcontractor allocations and project closeouts. Research and respond to inquiries from internal and external clients with high-quality written and verbal communications.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in related field
- 2 to 4 years of related and progressive experience in billing and accounting operations for government contracts
- Experience with billing Time & Material (T&M) contracts
- Experience with billing Firm Fixed Price (FFP) contracts
- Experience with billing Cost Plus Fixed Fee (CPFF) contracts
