Key responsibilities include researching claim edits, preparing secondary and tertiary claims, verifying patient information, and documenting all actions in the Health Information System (HIS). The position requires excellent customer service skills and the ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders. A high school diploma and three years of medical field experience are required, along with knowledge of medical terminology and office procedures.
