BILLING REPRESENTATIVE

Remote Medical Billing Representative responsible for verification and updating patient demographics and insurance information, monitoring outstanding balances, billing payors, preparing invoices, and reconciling billing with accounts receivable. Works with billing and support groups to assure maximum reimbursement, adheres to HIPAA, OSHA, and CMS compliance, and meets daily goal volumes. Requires exceptional data entry skills and strong phone/customer service abilities, with a focus on timely documentation and process improvements.
