Job Summary
Billing Lead at Steno, remote-first with competitive base salary and growth potential. You will oversee complex billing scenarios across outsourced partner teams, establish performance standards, run quality audits, and serve as the primary escalation point to drive results with clarity and accountability. You will bridge billing with product to ensure alignment on new agent workflows and automations, and own documentation such as SOPs and defensible records to support audits. Success requires leadership in multi-site/remote settings, deep knowledge of provider billing practices and exception handling, and the ability to drive training and knowledge management in collaboration with Billing and Enablement teams.
Required Qualifications
- 1+ year of direct experience working with or managing outsourced (BPO) teams — including multi-site or multi-location operations
- expert-level knowledge of provider billing practices and exception handling
- ability to establish performance standards, run quality audits, and act as primary escalation point
- experience bridging billing and product teams to align workflows with product releases
- ability to develop and maintain knowledge management resources (e.g., SOPs) and training materials
