Job Summary
Generate monthly payment applications and submit AIA forms for multiple complex projects in Heavy/Civil and Structural Steel divisions. Track, verify, and incorporate approved change orders into the billing cycle to ensure maximum cost recovery. Partner with Project Managers and Engineers to review percentage-of-completion data before billing clients. Monitor accounts receivable, follow up on outstanding payments, and resolve billing disputes to maintain healthy cash flow. Requires 3+ years of billing/AR experience, proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Sage Intacct, and a degree in Accounting or Finance. Full-time role in Norfolk, MA with profit sharing, medical/dental, PTO, and 401K match.
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years of billing/AR experience
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel
- Experience in accounting software (Sage Intacct, or similar)
- Strong communication skills for customer and internal follow-up
- High attention to detail and accuracy in a fast-paced environment
Desired Qualifications
- Associate or Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance or related field preferred
- Experience in the construction industry
