Job Summary
Lead functional administration of the Zuora Billing and Revenue platform and serve as the functional lead for subscription billing solutions. Design and architect billing configurations, pricing models, and advanced workflows within Zuora to meet evolving company requirements. Translate business requirements from Finance, Accounting, and Revenue teams into scalable configurations; bridge business processes with IT by leveraging Zuora API capabilities. Collaborate with technical teams to optimize data synchronization between Zuora Billing, Zuora Revenue, Salesforce, and General Ledger systems like NetSuite. Monitor platform health, troubleshoot billing issues, and drive system updates and patch enhancements. Continuously evaluate Zuora features and industry trends to optimize performance and automate accounting workflows. Requires 7+ years in subscription management/financial systems, deep Zuora expertise, strong Order-to-Cash knowledge, experience with Salesforce and NetSuite, API integrations, and a Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, MIS, IT, or equivalent
- 7+ years of experience in subscription management and financial systems with hands-on platform implementation and leadership
- Zuora Billing (required) and Zuora Revenue (RevPro) architecture knowledge
- Strong understanding of SaaS Order-to-Cash workflows including quoting, invoicing, and revenue recognition
- Experience with Salesforce and Enterprise General Ledger systems like NetSuite
- XML/JSON or scripting languages (e.g., Python) for API integrations
- Ability to translate complex accounting needs into functional specifications
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
